First Alternative Winter Wine Soiree 2020

I created this branded look for First Alternative’s wine tasting event. Besides a celebration of food and wine, and a chance to raise some money for a good cause, the 2020 event centered around celebrating the First Alternative Co-op’s 50th Anniversary. The designs are based on the look created in the 2019 event, but modified to embrace the 1970s-oriented brand palette we used for the Co-op 50th. To create the design I used a combination of Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop.

Using Adobe Photoshop, I created the icy blue photographic textures of wine glasses and sparkling lights using photographs from the previous year’s event.

I created a mark, branded look and set of digital and print publicity for an initiative from First Alternative called “Co-op Community.” It is a series of community-enhancing activities and events planned for First Alternative Co-op Owners. I created the logo in Adobe Illustrator and the animation in Photoshop.

Willamette Valley Symphony Posters & Advertising

As a cellist in and supporter of the Willamette Valley Symphony, I offered to take on the primary advertising needs for the concerts of the 2014-2015 season. I created original illustrations for each of the five concerts based on the mood, featured instrumentation, and composer from the repertoire. I used these illustrations to create posters, electronic headers, program covers, and both full-color and one-color newspaper advertisements.

Tango Mike Theatrical Poster

I created this poster for the LBCC theatre department’s production of Tango Mike, a play about veterans suffering from Post-traumatic Stress Disorder. The illustration features words from a key monologue in the play which I created by inscribing the letter forms in mud, photographing, and editing them in Adobe Photoshop.
