First Alternative Winter Wine Soiree 2020
I created this branded look for First Alternative’s wine tasting event. Besides a celebration of food and wine, and a chance to raise some money for a good cause, the 2020 event centered around celebrating the First Alternative Co-op’s 50th Anniversary. The designs are based on the look created in the 2019 event, but modified to embrace the 1970s-oriented brand palette we used for the Co-op 50th. To create the design I used a combination of Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop.

First Alternative Co-op 50th Anniversary Branding
I created this 50th anniversary mark in Adobe Illustrator. I created the animation using Photoshop. These were planned as a celebration of the 50th anniversary of First Alternative Natural Foods Co-op in 2020. It was used on packaging for specialty products that were co-branded with local companies as a collaboration. It was also used with branded merchandise and various promotions and signs.

I created this branded look for First Alternative’s annual wine tasting event. I created the mark, including the graphic art deco pattern of wine glass and bottle silhouettes using Adobe Illustrator. Using Adobe Photoshop, I created the icy blue photographic textures of wine glasses and sparkling lights using photographs from the previous year’s event.

I created this mark and branded look for an innovative partnership program between First Alternative Co-op and EcNow Tech, a local materials engineering company that produces compostable utensils. First Alternative Co-op Budget Bites Recipe Booklets
This project is a series of print booklets intended as helpful, affordable weekly meal plans for Co-op customers. I created these booklets using Adobe InDesign. They contain many examples of my own food photography as well as some stock photographs. I also created the Budget Bites mark using Adobe Illustrator. In addition, I created slides for individual recipes to be posted on social media.
